What to expect

I provide a safe, non-judgemental and empathic space for you to bring whatever is causing you distress or discomfort at this time. We will work at a pace which is comfortable for you and there will be no pressure to talk about anything which you do not feel ready to discuss. If you are looking to make changes in any area of your life, we will explore what is blocking your path, and work together to find ways of implementing those changes.

My extensive training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy gives me the skills and expertise to facilitate a journey of profound discovery for each client I see. There are no limits on the level of freedom you can achieve.

Once you have made contact with me either by phone, email, text, or through this website, we will have an informal discussion on the the phone about your situation and needs. If appropriate, you will be offered a 30 minute face-to-face assessment, free of charge. This will take place at my comfortable and peaceful therapy room in Hertford at a mutually convenient time.

Therapy with me will offer you 50 minutes at the same time and same place every week. This time will be a strictly confidential space for you to discuss your situation, problems and concerns.

For those individuals struggling with addictive substances and behaviours; we will work together to address your compulsions, aiming for either control or abstinence – whichever suits you best.
